At least men were treated honorably for their sacrifice in war/society and weren’t just shamed for not being able to attract women or succeed in a society stacked against them. But with advancing technology men will start dying less in war/dangerous jobs. That’s why I’m in favor of artificial wombs/ gene editing/transhumanism.

@sardonicsmile with a larger number of the men who are unable to have their own woman to pair with, a lot of men have been checking out of the system. You simply will not have men motivated to work hard if they are unable to have a wife of their own to have a family with. The current trend towards soft harems where many women are having out of wedlock children and many men who are left out of the sexual marketplace means we are due for civilizational collapse.

@sardonicsmile Perhaps we need to have a collapse and have some readjustment. But I guarantee it will not be pleasant, and women like this will soon realize that the consequences of a lack of investment by men will mean hard times. Eventually we will rebalance to the system where either men are scarce (thus true harems being common) or heavily enforced monogamy. Either way, the feminist system will be necessarily pushed out of the way for a system that can actually function.

Civilization needs monogamy, harems only work with male scarcity otherwise you need to control women’s mate choice. I agree with TWRA but in the longterm we need an advancement in technology to overcome the cycle, which is why I favor transhumanism the most.
