Jesus fucking Christ, I can't talk to normies, at all. Even when you try to specifically cut off stupid comments from the start and be specific in your attempts at getting thoughts / input, people still say what you tried to skip over by specifically addressing any possible misunderstanding.

Some people are more likelyj to pay attention to what you said if they think you payed attention to what they said
But usually 1 of the following occurs
1 The person talks too much for you to talk
2 The person does not talk back enough for you to know if they comprehended what you said
3 The person tells you not to talk about that thing
4 the person is willing to both talk and listen but talking and listening takes a lot of time & they are usually busy with other commitments
