Sometimes I marvel at how some of these "senior project managers" or "senior strategic partner coordinators" are females in their twenties. Then I remember that it's the current year.

I gave up already. When I see the managers are women, I know the company is not serious and I enter "mercenary freelancer" mode and do the absolute bare minimum to get my invoice approved every month.
