the amount of people hyped for trump saving them is staggering. i guess, some people are simply unable to ever wake up and see the real world.
@RegalBeagle i'd say fedora an suse but suse got woke, like debian and nixos. fedora should be fine but hard to say these days. good old ubuntu, i guess. maybe arch, since it's a do-it-yourself type of thing. everything is going to shit these days. and when it comes to software, people will get killed sooner or later because something did not work as it should have and prevent people form getting hurt. give it a decade and the level of boeing engineering will be standard everywhere.
@Zeb everything is just barely working if you look into it. banks, grocery stores, logistics.. i was wondering lately that i am proponent of capitalism but i think corporate capitalism was a mistake. business should be personal and you should be working only to get what you need with some cushion for a bit of luxury. chasing profits for the sake of profits(obligation to shareholders) is what causes the "bad" in the society and everything is paper-thin, just to scrape every last cent of profit.

1-5% of people, 800k-5M worldwide, are aware of what is going on in the world and are not normies. WE will never have numbers to impose significan change or enough money sto stirr normies ibto desired direction. Therefore comolaining about the broken system or fighting it is pointless. It is unwinnable fight. So accept it and move on. Go and be productive, for your own sake and let the society do its thing.
