@Stahesh any war that is not about survival is just business. and i do not think we had any other wars for centuries. heck, even the roman empire was not fighting for survival, only to conquer and grow. so i can easily say we have not have wars for survival for millennia. and by that i mean the attacking side is attacking because its survival is at stake. the other might fight for survival naturally as a victim but i am talking about the aggressive party. if they are fine, it's business.
@ButtWorldsMan what i essentially needs is for the service to accept crypto and deposit fiat to my account. i saw some services but it seems they do not do the conversion as part of the process so the fiat amount might differ from the time of purchase/sale.

@DoubleD iirc they made studies about this for GPS navigation and female voice were found more suitable, hence this is what we have everywhere nowadays. man's voice, i think, was considered too commanding or something like that. as for audio books, that depends on personal preference. but also on how good the voice actor is. it is indeed acting after all, not just reading in monotone.

@Wopu it would totally be like that though. we might understand a lot more nowadays but very few understand the technical/scientific details enough to be able to make an impact on some ancient society. even basics like plumbing, you might introduce the notion of bacteria and illnesses and need for hygiene but actually doing something about it would be quite tough.
