Fuck the past, burn it, kill it if you have too. its 2024 and we still don't have synthetic organs or cybernetics limbs or eyes, but we are living the dystopia.
How come we haven't found the formula to create gold yet? i know Rome collapse and it set humanity back a a thousand years but, we managed to come back in the 16th century.
so how come we still so way behind? cuz of Oil? the US is willing to hold human technological advances cuz they need Oil to stay in power?
Also I think there was an episode or issue of Superman where they could make gold but the ingredients were more expensive than gold
And people kidnapped the scientists trying to make money not knowing that using the process would cause them to lose money
@shortstories then we have to start mining meteors, but let's be honest, if the US really went to the moon, the rich would be the first one to own station up there.
And sure, they want to go to mars, HOW? you can't even manage to make multiple successful trips to the moon or you get stock in orbit.
@RodrickSage @shortstories Yea they need to invent spaceships not using rockets. for space travels to go to asteroids and back.
The words of the greatest philosopher of our time might help here.
You need to see "What can be, unburdened by what has been" - Kameltoe Hairyass
@UncleIroh @shortstories What can be, unburden by what has been.
so her 304 past does not matter, for her future presidency. imagen that, having a bad past and getting rewarded.
BECOME UNBURDENED RIGHT NOW!
@RodrickSage
They probably can create gold in a fusion or fission reaction but it is probably more expensive than the sale price of the gold
Furthermore the value of gold relative to other elements would decrease the more gold they make
And if they gave everyone gold everything then people with gold would not become rich in food and could not trade gold for food when gold is so plentiful
