@shortstories The video says nothing about jews. Neither any news article. Cite your source.
@shortstories Okay... at least you self reported yourself as someone, who don't know the laws. Maybe we should take your voting rights away too...
Not knowing maths will make your life harder, but not knowing the laws can and will make you a criminal.

It's a really old novel and relatively old movie, but it's a must watch. The original purpose of the story was to help people understand higher dimensions according to mathematics, but it's also a great criticism of society. The depiction of woman as one dimensional beings is a great reflection of the Victorian Era mindset people had and for the most part it's still alive and well. Of course this goes both ways as we know today.
Flatland The Film: Official HD Version - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=avMX-Zft7K4
Currently reading Elon Musk's biography and it's a very interesting read. Only half way through, but his Steve Jobs energy is clear as day. It's interesting to look behind the scenes and see the many failures and the absolutely ridiculous amount of risk he's taking just to fulfil a childhood dream. He reminds me to Winston Churchill, who also lived his life with the belief, that he was always destined for greatness. Elon's goal to reach Mars in his lifetime is mad, but he might just pull it off.
@shortstories This could be fake. He don't cite the source. It doesn't take much talent to create a document like this. If it's publicly available, then he shouldn't hide it's source. If it's a leak, then it's a 50/50.
It doesn't contain anything, that we didn't knew already, so I think I'll go with fake, until proven otherwise.
@shortstories This is dumb. This isn't a matter of beliefs. You can ask woman and they'll tell you. Roleplaying as a man with boobs is more preferable, than being limited to exist in the female reality. Many woman would happily gender swap to be a man, just to get out of dealing with female biology. Giving birth is the peak of this experience, especially when they experience complications. Human reproduction is a very flawed and dangerous system.
[AMV] Don't Know How to Stop - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1N9ezrcgde0
This was made in 2009 and it still hold up to the best animations, that we see today. 7 years, hand drawn, almost bankrupted Madhouse, like all legendary works. In case you haven't seen this 18+ sci-fi racing anime movie, give it a shot. It's great. 😎
@RoninGrey Just be nice to them, and they might let you live inside a human hamster-wheel as a power source.😎

@freepatriot The electrical grid doesn't work like that. Power generation trying to match the demand at every moment. The price is based on the fuel cost. More generation just increase stability, but likely increase the price, because you'll need to operate more plants.
"The Experiment That Was Supposed to Kill Gravity" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1mnuJUOQKE
Just a reminder, that we have people like this in the world with jobs, voting rights and platforms to voice their opinions and ideas. If your gut feeling tells you, that you're speaking/listening to a stupid person, do your homework and figure out who's the dumb one in the interaction.

I'm so glad, that we always had people who made sure, that personal histories get recorded. It helps a lot to figure out what was and is true in our historical knowledge.
@freepatriot Some distinctions need to be made here.
Prisons: Safety risk. Good reason for the limits.
North Korea: It's an Autocratic dictatorship. The country is a prison. So yeah, it's shouldn't be a thing there.
Western world: Free expression and debate of ideas is a good thing. But the Internet turned into something different. Online anonymity also support criminality. Digital ID for everything is too much, but some regulations are required to maintain moral integrity.
@shortstories Based on the source documents, it is true. However, this is clearly just another legal over reach. This is a core problem with the american legal system. On one hand, it enable people to take any issue to court, by not gate keeping them financially. But it also enable legal bullying like this one. Based on the state of the patients, this a pointless law suit. But someone clearly see a possibility of payout from it. They'll probably cave in to the pressure, but it wont matter.
@shortstories This AI video is based on psychological experiments that were investigating animals ability of learning and reason. The goldfish was one of the animals in these tests. And yes, the tests disproven the "goldfish memory" myth, but not by this degree. It's not human level cognition. It's learned survival habits. It doesn't recognize you as it's owner. Just as a source of food/non-threat. Memory and habits aren't the same. More advanced than insects, less than birds/lizards.

Mikhail Gorbachev was a very interesting politician in the USSR. He loved the USSR and as an idealist, he thought human kindness and honesty can save it. Unfortunately for him, he hardly understood how horrible the USSR was for the average person or oppressed countries. So, despite his best wishes no one wanted to support his plan and give the USSR a 2nd chance.
