@Stahesh @RodrickSage not a proper understanding of polytheism as nobody realy has it anymore you dont study

@dick @RodrickSage It is just meme from internet.

We know that polytheism is the belief in or worship of more than one god.😇

@Stahesh @RodrickSage and all those more than one god are believed to be one and the same eternal consiousness. thats how it is

@dick @RodrickSage @Stahesh That's not even true of Christians lol. A few actually believe the trinity to mean separate entities, each with a separate consciousness.
And that is definitely false when it came to most forms of polytheism.

@Based_Accelerationist @RodrickSage @Stahesh no it isnt. you dont understand polytheism. hinduism wich is a form of the same ancient paganism explicitly says all gods are the same being

@dick @RodrickSage @Stahesh Yes it is. Hinduism is nowadays primarily a form of pantheism, not polytheism. That was not the case for most forms of "paganism" where the gods were thought of as separate divinities.

@Based_Accelerationist @RodrickSage @Stahesh what do we know of their intricate beliefs not for plebs. there is always 2 sets of belief
@Based_Accelerationist @RodrickSage @Stahesh the ancient idea that all gods are one was in more paganism and wat lead to gnosticism

@dick @RodrickSage @Stahesh And yet many scholars claim Gnosticism came primarily from Judaism/Christianity, which should be pretty logical.

@dick @RodrickSage @Stahesh Again, you can claim that, but scholars aren't in agreement. Some say it came from Judaism, others think it originated after Christianity and some claim other influences like neo-Platonism and Buddhism. You can believe Gnosticism came from paganism to validate your idea that they were actually pantheists/monotheists, or you can listen to the arguments.
