Its value is ZERO while you're living in it and not selling it. It only has value intrinsic to the owner. Sure, you can be personally invested in it, but that doesn't change the number because if there's no intent to sell then that number doesn't even exist.
These people just holding extra homes forever are actually fucking insane and deserve to die for it. The other part about being against increasing supply is actually true, they're right to oppose increasing the supply, 1000% justified.
This isn't a supply issue, it's a lead induced mental health crisis among the elderly and an artificial scarcity issue created by (((asset managers))) like Black Rock.
His message isn't wrong but it's also not completely right. I get setting expectations low but there absolutely is a breaking point, I don't know what breaking looks like, but we're fast approaching it.
