@houseoftolstoy - I would argue WWIII is already in progress. Future historians will back-date it, probably to the invasion last year.
But if WWIII is already started, why not cross Rubicons? I think there's really only one answer, and it's the same everywhere... and probably the root cause of why Rubicons need crossing in the first place (cowardice). I can't really judge though, seeing as I too, am running out a clock.
Also, I agree. We are in WWIII and historians will date it to 24 Feb 2022.
@YoMomz Regarding the cause, I would say cowardice would be a factor. There is also a factor of denial. Not many would want to admit that we are in WWIII until it is too obvious to acknowledge. With the current small scale it is easy to deny that it would be happening.
Though perhaps that denial is a part of cowardice, but not always.
