In civilizational terms, seeing India today, is like meeting a 40 year old straight woman who has never had any sort of boyfriend... You might not know what's wrong with her, but you know it's something.
India is one of the oldest continuous civilizations, and yet they've accomplished jack shit, as a civilization. You might not know exactly what's wrong there... but you can be sure it's something.
