I'm passing through a truck stop, and for whatever reason, there's a gaggle of what must've been Mennonite girls - in ankle length dresses and bonnets. And walking past them is a local hoochie mama in skin tight spandex - decent form with ass cheeks out & nipples poking through her top.

I wasn't daydreaming about the hoochie girl. 😂

If I had to summarize the temptation, it was to ask them: "Say, what church do you gals belong to, and uh, how can I join? 😉"

But they don't end up murdered. They don't spawn bastard children for the state to raise. They rarely fall into drug addiction. Their young daughters are molested and force-fucked at much lower rates.

I'd call that a win. But the key, is balance. There's a lot of nuance. And defining a standard would be difficult, but worth the time, I think. 🍻

@basedbagel - The women who end up with truly abusive men... By the time they do, they've usually been through plenty of decent guys - guys who refused to hit them under any circumstances.

But imagine if those decent guys slapped them on the rare occasions that warranted it: Maybe they didn't want her dressing so slutty, or going out for "girl's night" with their slutty friends to get fucked by randos.

Those women would live their lives, being wives and mothers who get slapped around ➡️

@basedbagel - And what's more... I'm no fan of truly abusive men - the tooth removers, the bone breakers... I don't like like those guys. I wouldn't be mad if they stopped breathing.

But in current zero-tolerance conditions, they reproduce at a greater rate than they otherwise would. Because they don't give a fuck. They're usually low-IQ with poor impulse control, but their equipment works, and they bust nuts in abused women and girls.

And by the time a broad is getting knocked out by a man in public, she's been out of control for years - probably spawning several bastard children and falsely accusing several innocent men by that point.

And it might all be averted, by simply slapping her around a little, earlier in life.

@basedbagel - When you see videos of females getting knocked out in public, or you see the stories about "paying the toll" where some acceptably attractive female (often a mother) gets murdered... I can't help thinking to myself: What if she had simply been slapped around a little earlier in life?

Seemingly paradoxical, but I believe a greater acceptance of minor domestic violence, could reduce the number of such incidents. 🤔 And what's more, all the wreckage left in the wake of a chaotic ➡️

@basedbagel - The challenge of course, is in defining the phrase "within reason". A community must reach an accord on this, and enforce it among themselves (simple social pressure should be sufficient in the vast majority of cases).

But the optimal balance lies somewhere between knowing that broken wives (and mothers) are bad for any society, and out of control wives (and mothers) are also bad for any society.

There's a balance. I'm fine with open hand slapping, shaking, restraining, bending over a knee and spanking... or otherwise demonstrating physical strength in a manner that doesn't permanently maim or injure (no broken bones, no missing teeth, & bruises are a sign that things went too far - so now you know your limits in disciplinary techniques).

Controlling a wife within reason, is necessary (for a functioning society). But don't break your wife.

Christians have had the run of the place for a long, long time. And their teachings, have led to now - which is intolerable. I will not be saving any holy books in my collapse library. I will be saving based cultural works and philosophy. 🫡

I'm gonna file all of that in the "maybe" category. The cathedral subversion lines up with motive and opportunity through the ages - which is why "cathedral" is such a good name for the apparatus.

The way I see it, if Jesus has a beef with what I plan to do - I would welcome him coming back to set me and everyone else straight. Of course, we're gonna need to see some legit miracles first.

Christians say this life doesn't matter. Your reward is the next life, so suffer whatever you must in this earthly life. Get raped, get molested, get robbed, get cheated, get broken, get killed... none of it matters.

But Jesus says don't take vengeance, because vengeance is God's. But then Jesus forgives everyone - even the rapists, thieves, liars, & killers.

Christians worship someone who seems to want his followers to suffer - and in silence, preferably.

Hurt people use their own pain as an excuse to inflict that pain onto others. No, it isn't justifiable... but that's often the logic at work in their heads.

They are weak minded and morally bankrupt. But to ignore or deny the phenomenon, invites a grave backstab on the personal level, and invites catastrophe on the societal level.

I will not allow any man to come between me and God. And that's exactly what a church does. I will not bow to a priest or a pope.

And lately, I've resolved that I wouldn't even have Jesus between me and God.

And it speaks to the fundamental human desire to rule in hell, rather than serve in heaven (both used metaphorically here). The father of the story, has gained a power over his prodigal son, that he doesn't have over his dutiful son. And sure, that's emotional power over a disinherited degenerate... but he seems happy enough about it.

And that seems to encapsulate the entire concept of the church. 💁🏻‍♂️

@basedbagel - Yeah, I've been dealing with "Christian" hypocrisy along the same lines directed at me by some extended family, for a while now... so I've been giving this theme a lot of thought.

The phrase "it's easier to ask forgiveness than permission" is at the core of christian ideology. And the reason is simple: by asking forgiveness, you are essentially granting someone power over you. They would have you live all your days, in a state of contrition and repentance, always striving ➡️
