Well, they did it. They found a way to make the indian IT even more useless at work.
I'm just already worn out. It started with incompetent women, then a supervisor who doesn't give a fuck about deadlines and slacked off all day yesterday, tech issues, and now IT can't even help because I'm not the right guy to ask it of them (policy change), so since the other people are out in vacation, I'm fucked. Even though I'm the guy who needs it.
"I can't know how to hear anymore about tables."
@RoninGrey Just do like everyone else and have A I. Write a elequent email explaining how you need access to Indian I.T. for productivity and deadlines because the breakdown of authority during the holidays
@Scubbie @RoninGrey
That's basically what I do. I haven't written a work email or ticket text for almost an year, AI does that for me while I focus on real work.
@Zeb @Scubbie @shortstories I just copy everyone involved and follow up. Eventually it makes someone look bad or annoys someone into actually doing something. I'm the king of administrative follow up.
@RoninGrey @Scubbie @shortstories
That sounds like the prologue to a class-action labor lawsuit.
There's no business that can survive female leadership.
@RoninGrey @Scubbie @shortstories
The issue is how much and to whom they should pay. she will need an auditor/accountant to map everything and pay all the difference and getting settlement confirmation from all employees.
If she fucked up the system, contractors incoming to calculate by hand. 🤷♂️
@Zeb @Scubbie @shortstories Luckily it's just one site. I don't know how long she's been there fucking it up.
Someone accidentally posted a food order in the chat. "Mr. Brown will have baked beans and [something else]." and promptly removed it. Someone replied, "Get me one, too!"
It disgusts me that these people are my peers or my superiors in the company. I'm demanding a raise next month (seriously).
@RoninGrey @Scubbie @shortstories
Asking for a raise is always a trick proposition. If you don't leave if you don't get it, you will never get one in the future (they'll know you are a pushover).
Bring receipts for all your productivity gains and specially, how you're ready and interested in more challenges and responsibility if they need it.
@Zeb @Scubbie @shortstories The company will have to pay out immediately. I'm 100% sure she got a private message about that because no one replied within the Teams chat.
