Houses are MUCH cheaper today than they were in 1971 before the US destroyed the gold standard and started printing the dollar away:
23,400$ 1971 dollars = 585 ounces of gold (at $40)
503,800$ 2025 dollars = 153 ounces of gold (at $3300).
It's a fiat money destroyed by the government problem. The dollar is the issue, not housing as they keep the wages suppressed against real money (gold). The FED and the government tyranny are the enemy.
