I thought I was immune to external validation until my dad told me he was proud of me after my graduation.
I know I shouldn't care so much but what can I say I'm not made of stone.
I was like:

As long as I stay away from things like the vax we're on good terms.
I don't cry at funerals or movies so it took me by surprise that I was crying like a bitch uncontrollably.
I didn't even think I cared that much but you learn something new about yourself every day.
