I recently got some new information and I retract my stance.

The situation for American fathers is more complex than I realize.

It turns out alot of fathers are blindsided by the system due to propaganda and don't realize the mess they are in until it's too late.

I always thought they knew what the deal was and accepted it without resistance due to cowardice

I apologize to you and all American fathers as I didn't know how deep the rabbit hole goes.

Based Bagel's common sense Tax Code:

1. Flat 10% Federal tax Simple > Complex "fairness"

2. NO fancy deductions or Credits

3. Employers work with IRS to do employees taxes EU style. 🖕 Tax software

When it comes to business taxes I'm open to suggestions as there are some good reasons that justify more complexity.

Everyone wants to simplify the tax code by removing OTHER people's deductions but don't you DARE touch the ̶w̶e̶l̶f̶a̶r̶e̶ ̶deductions they use.

One thing that triggers me to no end is the gaslighting the poor/ working class, rich people do to people like me in upper middle class.

Me: The US Gov uses the tax code as a social welfare system for the middle class and working class. Each credit adds pages to the tax code.

Dumbass: Well its not welfare because xyz tax credit I get is needed because its expensive and budgeting/working 2 jobs is hard.
