@sardonicsmile the numbers also change depending on how many children are in a household. 100k a year does not go neatly as far when you have to provide for children.
This is not a reason to not have children, but it should make you consider your choices if you do want them.

Actually I think this should be a disqualification for having kids. If a man cannot completely financially support his children then he should be disqualified. Also females should be able to provide credentials on home remedies, nutrition, and general aptitude and genetics to give birth.
