@furgar This just shows that if you are an environmentalist and opposed to nuclear power, you are either stupid or just an agent for communism.

@WashedOutGundamPilot Why do I bring up TV shows and movies in this case? Because unfortunately, too many women base their expectations on these works of fictions. Example: many women moved to large cities in hopes of living the Sex and the City lifestyle. Only to find themselves miserable and alone, because surprise, it was just a TV show and not reflective of reality.

@WashedOutGundamPilot I have yet to meet a woman who had made me feel intimidated by her intelligence. There are women who are higher on the bell curve, but never would that intimidate me.

Too many women are told that they are smart and amazing while never being told the things they need to work on or fix about themselves. Is it any wonder that so many of them have an ego? And it is only getting worse with so many TV shows and movies enforcing that notion.

@Humpleupagus Not only did they shut down the chat, I bet that some glowies were the ones doing the "threats" to the families in the chat, thus giving them the excuse to shut down the chat. Don't put it past them to do that bullshit, you know they absolutely would.

And besides, how is there anything scary about an online threat? Any retard can make all the empty threats in the world, and nothing comes of it. Not talking about doxing, as that can lead to real problems. But "death threats?" Nah.

@Aether @BackupHitter @MechaSilvio @DasSauerkraut Have faith. One day, another profile will mysteriously appear, following all the same people that BackupHitter used to follow. You will see him posting about the insanity that is going on in many western countries, especially Australia.

Not saying it is guaranteed, but I am describing my own experience when this happened before. So don't count him out yet.

@WashedOutGundamPilot @Humpleupagus @dew_the_dew But Aerith is canonically beautiful (whether or not you agree, it is the case in-universe). So she cannot be trans.

Also, would have to choose Tifa over Aerith.

@Kinochet @Terry Sorry, who or what is TRS? Sounds like cringe if they believe what every big tech platform was circling the wagons to proclaim.

@BallisticPig Yeah, avocado toast is another meme. The point of that statement, as boomerish as it is, was not that avocado toast was breaking millennials' bank accounts, but rather that they are making too many small purchases over time that add up to a lot of money, especially eating out.

You are probably right about fathers too. Though having a father in the home is no saving grace if he is reckless with his spending too. But having no father is usually far worse.

Women are especially guilty of the sentiment that "I have to go traveling." They may make the excuse that they cannot let down their friends who also want to travel. Chances are, their friends are also guilty of the same bad financial practices and using the same excuses to spend money they do not have.

Don't get me started on how many people think that they are "saving money" by getting airline miles. News flash: you have to spend a lot of money to get those "free" airline miles.

Yes, the meme of "but paying for Netflix is not the reason I am struggling financially" may have a point regarding that expense not causing financial problems alone, but that is just one of many sacred cows people have in their lives. All of which add up to far more than they think.

It's even worse when debt spending is involved for purchases, as that just makes the problem far worse for people who already cannot afford everything they think they have to have.

Every time I observe someone discussing how terrible their financial situation is, I am always curious about how exactly they are using their money. How much of it is going towards expenses that are wasteful and unnecessary? Often, this is the case, since many people do not track their spending or understand how "going out for drinks once in a while" ends up biting them hard in their wallets.

@BallisticPig I forgot all about the thot audits, and that was before the IRS expansion crap going on. With the IRS expansion, there is no way they are not going to happen now.

@BallisticPig @CoolhandJames I remember when it did not take days into weeks to figure out election results. "But it happened in this case!" Which usually means there was fuckery going on. For example the 2008 election with the Democrats in Minnesota "finding" more votes for Al Franken in the back of some cars. Totally legit and not fraudulent at all!

@Aether @deprecated_ii This assumes that there is any merit to the climate change hysteria. Given that there isn't, picking a year that is convenient to the narrative is par for the course to implement their globohomo agenda.

@deprecated_ii They made a big deal about taking back Kherson, but there has not been a peep about that whole offensive. Meanwhile there has been nothing but celebrations about taking an area that was far north of Kherson and was probably not that heavily defended.

Yeah, I think they failed trying to fight Russia once again.

@CoolhandJames Teachers in the US (not sure how many other countries do this too) get 3 months off every year in the summer. So much of the "underpaid" meme is due to only work 3/4's of the year. Add 33% to whatever their claimed pay is and you get a better idea about their earnings. That is, if they were to work the full year.

Apologies for paywalled content. The article alleges what many have suspected, that they have killed people with Covid19 protocols. Whether it was mindless order following or malice, this shit is why we should not just "trust the experts."

@Tfmonkey @spectre If Putin starts taking women's rights away in Russia, then we will know for sure.
