And yes, having "more options" becomes counterintuitive because you have a whole lot of people refusing to settle for reasonable options right in front of them with the idea that they will be able to perpetually roll the dice and get an even better deal. While this applies to both men and women, I see it as a bigger problem for women than men.

It was the grace of God that got me a wife, and while online dating mostly sucks, I managed to meet her there.

If you are fortunate enough to find a marriageable woman, hold on to her fast. Most likely you won't be finding another. Esp. since most of them are already married.

@mutageno Remove the motivation for those men to even try, everyone is worse off. We are sort of already seeing that in action, but we have not seen anything yet. Yes, no one is entitled to a relationship, but women like this only be able to have this pickiness due to our high standards of living. Remove those high standards, and suddenly Hugo the ugly plumber starts to look a little more attractive when no one can afford to keep whatever bullshit job she currently has.

@mutageno Let's see how bitchy she is when the heat no longer works in her home, when the water is no longer running, when the waste is no longer being disposed of, when infrastructure is no longer fixed, when food is no longer available at grocery stores. Chances are, there are some ugly men involved in those occupations required to give her the convenient life she takes for granted so that she can have whatever bullshit career her "advanced degree" gives her.

If you have any New Years resolutions, just cancel them. You should not be waiting until some date that everyone else uses to propose changes to their lives they will never keep. Any resolution change you want should be something you adopt right away, not when the rest of the normies do it.

I doubt I will see an influx of new gym members at the place I go to, as it is not a Planet Fatness. It is not horribly expensive, but it is enough to make those who are not committed hesitant to sign up.

Hell, various ethnic groups are constantly fighting in various regions of the world. The Hutus and the Tutsis were both black Africans, but that did not stop the violence. Getting rid of whites will not get rid of racial/ethnic tensions.

Also, I doubt we have a civil war in the US, and the breakdown is not going to be California and Texas becoming independent states, but rather regional fighting with territories most certainly not falling into categories based on state lines. @sj_zero Regarding password sharing, I have one theory on why the cracking down on that practice will not work. It often happens for those who just want to watch one movie or one show and then never really use it again. When told that they have to pay for a subscription or not have access for just that one thing at all, they will forego it. Those who just wanted to watch one thing can do without, unlike the serial show and movie watchers.

I don't know if these people are simply too delusional to realize that businesses do not just operate on autopilot or if they realize the risks but are too unwilling to do it themselves, but running a business is by no means guaranteeing that you will be wealthy. Often, it can become a liability if the business fails.

But commies are often too busy looking up at the successful businesses to see all those that did not make it. They are blind to the risk necessary for success.

Commies are just like boomer bosses:

"If I don't see it with my own eyes, how do I know you are working?"

The boomer boss uses this as justification against you working a job you could do remotely, but commies simply do not understand there is more to running a restaurant than taking orders and making the food. Same goes with any other business operation, more happens that just what can be immediately and obviously observed.

One thing that bothers me when talking with commies/socialists about business profits is their lack of understanding with the downsides of being the owners. That is, being an owner means that you must deal with the losses as well as the profits. But too many commies seem to think that all businesses are guaranteed to be making money and think that all profits should be evenly distributed among the workers. Never do they consider what happens in their model when the business is not profitable.

And my recollection is that prices always go down during winter. I forget the exact reason, but I think it has something to so with where the gas comes from on a seasonal basis.
