the point of science has been for decades to gaslight you into believing you can't accurately observe the world around you and that you need an expert's interpretation for everything
Decent longpost about why feminization will likely spell the end of academia: https://barsoom.substack.com/p/academia-is-womens-work

1. Men compete with each other, it's how we're wired
2. Competition leads to results
3. Results lead to prestige, which is what makes universities convince people to attend and fund them
4. But when a field is perceived as woman dominated, men leave, because competing with women is not something men do
5. When men leave, the field becomes girl-coded and results drop off because (in general) women don't compete like men do.

@Aviz @Rasterman I suspect that governments are underhandedly forcing these video game companies to hire these people under the threat of various forms of lawfare (e.g. discrimination lawsuits). I just do not give the benefit of the doubt that the governments are not doing it because "technically we did not force them to do this" is often the claim when you finally dig deep enough to figure out that they wanted to push an agenda.

@Tfmonkey Norway was also the country to try a tax experiment to encourage people to voluntarily pay more taxes if they felt they were paying too little. They raised an additional $1325.

Granted, Norway already has high taxes, so it is not a surprise the people there would feel little motivation to pay more.

Example of having opposition to the same thing in spite of having completely different outlooks. Cenk opposes neocons because he sees them as the embodiment of conservatives. I oppose neocons because they where conservative values like a skinsuit to pretend that they care about what the American right wants.

I may agree that we should not have infinite foreign wars, but when the question of what do we do once we stop that comes up, then we have nothing uniting us.

@HeliRides3000 >Dollar General you need to do better

This is them doing better. The alternative is they leave and the area becomes a "food desert." Low trust environments require low trust solutions.

I've seen a lot of people in the hiring pipeline lately trying to act like they have no influence at all on who gets hired

"we don't make hiring decisions" yeah nigger you just decide who gets a chance to get hired at all

@TrevorGoodchild @cough @dissidentsoaps I am not shocked in the least. I could sense the homosexuality from how they talked. Can they at least employ what little acting skills they have to not talk like they want to do some finger snaps after every line?

@sj_zero whoever made this ad must be operating under the assumption that men are going to be swayed with social stigma in the same way that women are. But any man who sees this ad is either already planning to vote Democrat or are going to be more motivated to vote Republican if they were not already.

A real man should not be forming their opinions to conform to the crowd. Especially if the crowd is just a fabrication like this.

what's funny is that for all the media talking about men not understanding women, this is how they understand men - "football and guns"
