@sardonicsmile It's only prostitution if the men fight for a country/cause they don't personally support, because they're too scared or are simply mercenaries. Men have to fight for something, if it isn't to defend their nation, then it should be against their government. The real prostitution isn't conscription, but the "just following orders" mentality. If you're told to fight for something you don't respect, REVOLT.

@sardonicsmile Let's look at the alternative, no conscription. Ok, so who does the fighting? Foreign mercenaries? Just know whoever you pick, that's the group your politicians will answer to. Same reason why European countries answer to the US, the people with the guns (plus drones and missiles in current year) always call the shots.

Now if only US soldiers weren't whores who fought for Israel and had the courage to revolt. WW2 would've been completely different, for starters.

@Based_Accelerationist Well, I have to assert. In both cases the individual is selling their body. One is selling to another person the other is "selling", by force, in the case of conscription, to the government.

@sardonicsmile That depends on whether you consider regular sex, prostitution. In my view, if a soldier really believes in what he's fighting for (like a girl who has sex with her boyfriend she likes), then it's not prostitution, even if the soldier/girl appreciate the other benefits that such a relationship brings, or even if the government/boyfriend are just using their bodies to their own ends.

@Based_Accelerationist I am watching Some Mark Passio videos. Specifically on his take on police and Military. He
asserts police/Military are agents of a corrupt government and "order followers". He explains the indoctrination process and likens them to a cult and a gang.
He goes on to expos police selection process as one that preselects for psychopathic tendencies and secepteble to ingroup bias.

He is not wrong. I find myself nodding in agreement to his claims.

@sardonicsmile He's not wrong. Soldiers and police officers are always taught to blindly follow orders, no civilization ever did that differently. Collectivism is great in warfare, nothing like a fearless robot army that will follow any command given to them.

However, that same collectivism that is so useful during wartime, is also a death sentence when you have prolonged peace, as it greatly promotes corruption. Men must think for themselves, even when told otherwise, it's the only way.
