@Deadladyofclowntown Being principled without regard to outcome is lazy, arrogant, and self righteous.
Pragmatism requires careful consideration of how your choices affect people and you have to take responsibility for the outcome of your choices.
Principles are lazy, they allow you to avoid responsibility, not think, and consider yourself morally superior based on your smug dedication to principles even as you get everyone killed, including yourself.

@Tfmonkey Well, I have heard of this phenomenon called "protein poisoning". The body is being "starved", as in starvation, even though you are eating maintenance calories. Ideally about 2,500 per day for a 200 lb man. I understand you want to avoid the carbohydrates and you mentioned you are getting healthy fats from butter. There must be a dietician you can enlist. Losing 30 lbs is serious. There are ~3,500 calories in 1 lb of fat alone. You lost 30 lbs; you must have lost muscle..
