Eventually their ought to be some person or group of people at the top whose orders could either be ignored by everyone in the ranks below or for who everyone in the ranks below could use defensive force against if they attacked people for not following their orders

I doubt I'd get that far. I'd either get shot by the MPs conscripting me, or a military tribunal for the shit I did to the MPs trying to conscript me.

This isn't me trying to sound badass either, I just get so angry thinking about it I doubt I'd be able to control myself.
