While anti-Zionism is indeed antisemitism, anti-Zionism is much more socially acceptable than classic antisemitism. The result is that many anti-Zionist activists can embed historic antisemitic tropes in their criticism of Israel without significant pushback

But how do I distinguish between John Hagee who is a Zionist but does not claim to be Jewish and some other Zionists who claim to be Jewish

John Hagee does not officially get any land in Israel for himself by promoting Zionism where as someone who calls himself a Jew and promotes Zionism benefits from getting land in Israel

It is important to make the distinction because the claims of zionism are based on a alleged religion & alleged bloodline
