I have met Muslims & Bahaii from Iran and they seem to be smarter on average than a lot of other Muslims I have talked to from other places although I am not denying that there are some individual Muslims who are smarter than the average person from Iran who came from other Muslim countries

The very first golden rule that should be taught to anyone wanting to seriously dabble in collectivist politics is 'Watch Your Back'. The value of your personal wellbeing is always trumped by the will of the greater good and whatever is the current interpretation of that aka 'current thing'.
