If a Republican politicuan is in office he or she will do the same thing a Democrat politician would do but the Republica voters will mostly approve it
Democrats are going to protest whether or not people give into their demands
Giving into their demands does not stop them from protesting it only at most changes what they protest but not that they protest. It rarely even changes what they protest because they pretend like they did not get what they ask for.
