The Holocaust happened.

It was:

1. A slave labor program where most victims died of disease and malnutrition;
2. Open pit executions, barn burnings, and ghetto warfare, mostly by partisans.

However, the official narrative of soap, lampshades, gas chambers, electric pools, bending guns, and death vans was obviously fake.

This week it came back to bite Israel in the ass, but we should ask, was it ever good?

In my view, the Holocaust transformed a rich and interesting history into a victimhood story.

This clever manipulation got Jewish people preferred status and protection all over the world, but now that everyone lighter than a manila folder has turned on them, the vengeance is coming at full force.

Jews cannot be both victim and "oppressor" in the eyes of such people.

So 碟仙 (die xian) is a type of chinese-style oujia board that’s very popular in Taiwan and #TIL that it’s actually adapted from the western oujia board. Basically, during the republican era in China, local superstitions were frowned on so they imported “scientific” ways to talk to spirits from the west & it eventually spread to Taiwan during the civil war.
