If a synagogue is actively funding terrorism can it still be factually accurate to call the synagogue a

"Sleeper terror cell"

Or is the difference between alleged Iranian or Muslim sleeper terror cells in the United States and Synagogues that Synagogues are "active terror cells" instead of sleeper terror cells?

@Autumn The Jews, sometime later, I don't know when. They tried to mistranslate the Greek word virgin to maiden. The great word for virgin clearly translates to virgin, not maiden.

One popular Luther quote, "I confess that I cannot forbid a person to marry several wives, for it does not contradict the Scripture"

It seems to me that the central thesis of buddhism - the full throated kind anyway - is "existence is tragedy." To live, have rational self-interest, and to experience the pleasures and pains inherent to humanity horrifies the founders of buddhism. Thus they war against desires, urges, and life-preserving instincts as an act of rebellion. The only reason it hasn't turned into a suicide cult is that achieving their highest goal (ontological suicide) is reserved only for those who spat in God's Face the hardest, rejecting everything about the blessings of life to the fullest extent.

I watched a clip from a buddhist monastery once, where they were making intricate decorations with colored sands. Every time they'd finish one of these pieces of art, some leader monk would undo it entirely. Why? In his words, to force the junior monks to meditate on impermanence and decay, to get them to stop attaching themselves to things. His reasoning was that attachments to this world keep you anchored here...as if that was a bad thing.

It really is just codified militant nihilism. Buddhism as I've seen it tells people that this world is a bad thing that ought to be escaped instead of a good thing that God created.

This anti-existence mindset isn't relegated to buddhism alone. It wormed its way into Christianity *very* early on by way of gnostic subversion. Since gnostics hold that some "evil" demiurge made the material world, they too insisted on reaching enlightenment through asceticism to achieve some sort of escape from reality. They too wanted to spit in God's Face. In the Church this simply got reworked to sound as though they weren't copying notes from these goofballs. But you may notice that gnostics and buddhists share the same aims and view of the world, so they naturally respect one another. The problem is, that means the churches end up giving an unearned respect to buddhism as well. For magisterial-apostate Christians, buddha is one of their highest saints and greatest teachers.

Don't believe me? One of the worst apostasies in Christian history is the canonization of siddhartha (the founder of buddhism) by the Catholic and Orthodox churches.
Oh don't worry, our spiritual forebears renamed him "josaphat" and made his story look more Jesus-ey. That apparently makes it OK to tell Christians to kiss icons of him or else they'll be damned:

Remember. If Nicea II is valid and all of its anathemas are true, then you would *have* to believe that buddha is a saint despite his entire religion being militant nihilism. You would have to pray to guatama just like a buddhist would, only you use a different name (because then maybe God won't notice your idolatry or something).

I converted to Christianity and started going to church for the first time 1 month ago. Faith in Christ is the only thing that has ever made me feel truly at peace.

I'm not a huge believer in IQ when it comes to quantifying the unknowable (the mind), but such drastic differences that allow for clinical diagnosis of retardation should not be ignored. We are dealing with subhumans in the most Christian terms. They are not your equals.
