Before the war he was losing popularity and being investigated for construction contract fraud. I hate him. Maybe it should be called the Old Covenant because that’s what it actually is. God’s attempt to have a relationship with us through observance of law by a ‘stiffnecked people’. When that didn’t work, a New Covenant had to be implemented which was rejected.
