On July 29, 2026, a red-tailed hawk successfully intercepted and downed a Arvada Police Department drone in Arvada, Colorado, near Denver. The drone, part of the department's "Drone First Responder" unit, was investigating a condemned shed when the bird of prey attacked. Footage released by the police shows the hawk locking onto the drone from the ground before swooping up and knocking it out of the sky with a mid-air collision.

We've been praying for a miracle. A literal miracle is needed for my Papa to pull through. He is still on life support since Friday afternoon when he went into cardiac arrest. He is still in critical condition. But just now he opened his eyes and when my aunt asked if he wanted my Nana he was able to squeeze her fingers. He isn't out of the woods yet, he hasn't been stable enough for the MRI on his brain yet. We don't know how severe the damage sustained to his brain is. But at least he knows who his wife is and that he wants to see her. Praise the Lord for that. 🙏 🙌 Thank you for the prayers, they are working.
