I got a story that's being slept on right now. WFP (World Food Programme) is rolling out a program called "Building Blocks'' that most recently onboarded millions of Ukrainians. The idea is a blockchain based digital ID where they link the humanitarian aid to an 'account' on the chain. They 'Secure' it with bio-metrics like Iris-scans, fingerprinting, and basically anything else they can get away with.
As of this moment, hohols have had their Irisses scanned and databased in exchange for food, water, and humanitarian aid. This is not the future, this is not some fantasy, this is happening right fucking now and no-one is laughing at them about it (Yet). Read the main article for many keks, I will post some screenshots.
