@shortstories It bothers me that this happens to be "the year of the dragon."

I don't really agree with theologians who use astronomy and astrological signs as, well, "signs," but this does rub me the wrong way, considering that the Cathedral sure seems to love demonic attunement.

To be fair, we're told that the stars were created "for signs, seasons, days, and years." What do you think? Any thoughts about the Year of the Dragon?

The year of the dragon is supposed to be the year when the most powerful and bold act.

The year for shit to get crazy.

Dragon happens once every twelve years and is nothing to worry about it does not mean the end of the world because if it did the world would have ended in the previous dragon cycles

"The Dragon, also known as Loong, (simplified Chinese: 龙; traditional Chinese: 龍; pinyin: lóng; Jyutping: lung4; Cantonese Yale: lùhng) is the fifth of the 12-year cycle of animals which appear in the Chinese zodiac"

That descibes the cycle. Ronin was asking about it's significance, what it means to people.

In that sense, the year of the Dragon has great significance to Asians. It's the most powerful sign of the zodiac and has the most potential for good or evil.

Those born under it's influence, including those born in years of the Rat and Monkey, are believed capable of enacting events not possible in other years.

Invading Taiwan in a Dragon year would not be seen as stupid.

I am going to log out and try to go to bed

I do not have faith in astrology and numerology

But I believe that people's belief in astrology and numerology influences their behavior

I also believe that people will change how they communicate information to try to persuade people who believe in astrology and numerology even if they themselves do not believe in astrology and numerology

Astrology and Numerology can also be used as a secret language to convey messages
