@shortstories It bothers me that this happens to be "the year of the dragon."

I don't really agree with theologians who use astronomy and astrological signs as, well, "signs," but this does rub me the wrong way, considering that the Cathedral sure seems to love demonic attunement.

To be fair, we're told that the stars were created "for signs, seasons, days, and years." What do you think? Any thoughts about the Year of the Dragon?

@RoninGrey

The year of the dragon repeats a lot? It is every twelve years? Each year has a animal? They end up suggesting you marry someone with a 4 or 8 year age difference ( I do not remember which or if it is both ) based on what animal year you were born?

@RoninGrey @shortstories

The year of the dragon is supposed to be the year when the most powerful and bold act.

The year for shit to get crazy.

mgtow.tv/watch/they-know-somet

@UncleIroh @RoninGrey

Dragon happens once every twelve years and is nothing to worry about it does not mean the end of the world because if it did the world would have ended in the previous dragon cycles

"The Dragon, also known as Loong, (simplified Chinese: 龙; traditional Chinese: 龍; pinyin: lóng; Jyutping: lung4; Cantonese Yale: lùhng) is the fifth of the 12-year cycle of animals which appear in the Chinese zodiac"

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragon

@shortstories @UncleIroh Yes, I'm aware of that but thank you for saying so. I probably should have been more clear.

It's not like they don't do demonic shit every single year anyway. It's just gonna be a wild year and THEY definitely care about the eastern symbolism.

@RoninGrey @UncleIroh

Being the year of the dragon means there will be dragon themes in the news articles or at least the news articles in countries & languages that have the year of the dragon embedded in their culture like news in Chinese language and from Chinese sources because news is mainly fictional scripts written by script writers

Dragon themes will also appear in fiction movies and entertainment during the year of the dragon

@shortstories @UncleIroh Y2K in 2000, Mayan Calendar in 2012, Aliens in 2024. Every 12 years they perform an end-of-the-world symbolic ritual.

@RoninGrey @UncleIroh

Camping is notorious for issuing a succession of failed predictions of dates for the End Times, which temporarily gained him a global following and millions of dollars of donations

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harold

@RoninGrey @UncleIroh

They predict the end of the world is just around the corner every single year at some Churches and baby boomers have lived past the years they thought the world would end many times over while donating money to preachers preaching such lies

Of course the world might end as a direct result of their stupidity but not because of anything they were correct about from a religious or spiritual perspective, as they are stupid in matters of religion and spirituality

@shortstories @UncleIroh I personally don't put much stock in these claims, as I mentioned before. It just sounds like astrology to me. But I do keep an eye on them a lot more these days, since THEY seem to believe it.

Another thing I keep my eye on very closely lately is Putin's necktie game. That man's knots are always on point.

@RoninGrey @UncleIroh

Like I already said the astrology will effect the kind of story they choose to put in news articles

The news articles are fiction that follows an astrological and numerological script and for the most part are not real events at least when it comes to national and international news and when it comes to local news stories that are copy and paste versions of the same template run nation wide

This copying and pasting template is also done with sermons

@shortstories @UncleIroh Y'all don't ignore my Putin comment. Don't sleep on his tie presentation.

"He don't miss!"

Look at that shit. I respect the hell out of that necktie.

@RoninGrey @UncleIroh

I do not know anything about this but it looks like a fake background image

@shortstories @UncleIroh 🤣 I suspect you're right. You've a keen eye, my friend.

@RoninGrey @shortstories

Putin has good tie game, but I favor the slim tie and knot myself.

@UncleIroh @shortstories Careful what you admit in public!

In Soviet Russia, tie knots YOU!

@RoninGrey @shortstories

Hehe 🤣 🤣

I've always admired Putin's sense of occasion. He has always been one of the best dressed world leaders.

@shortstories @UncleIroh Yeah, they had a huuuuge thing in 1988 with the book "88 Reasons the Rapture will Happen in 1988" alongside "The Late Great Planet Earth."

It seems to really surge worldwide in these cycles.

@RoninGrey @UncleIroh

I would not call it a cycle because it is a continous non stop scam

The only thing that cycles about it are individual preachers who have to extend the date to a later time when it gets to close to the day to avoid being caught

So it might cycle for an individual preacher and the preachers that copy that preacher

But it does not cycle for the group of preachers as a whole

The group of preachers as a whole run the scam on a continous non cyclical basis with no gaps

@shortstories @UncleIroh I think you're talking about different people.

I'm talking about Satanists who await and actively accelerate the coming of the Beast of Revelation and literally eat and fuck children and drink blood.

@RoninGrey @shortstories

You guys seem to be talking about 2 distinct cultural streams:

1. the Christian-Zionist heresy of Dispensationalism based on the Scofield bible - rapture, end times, etc..

2. Asian "Year of the Dragon" zodiac symbolism.

I don't think there's mileage in trying to combine these two.

@UncleIroh @RoninGrey

There would be in South Korea. In South Korea they would combine the two.

Also all the different major religions are run by the same unknown group of people or sentient beings from the top down

Both Groups use fake end of the world predictions to control people and so do "atheists" with their global warming end of the world predictions that mirror Noah's flood and God burning the world in fire instead of water the next time from the Bible

Even UFO cults use it

@UncleIroh @RoninGrey

I am not familiar with the relationship between the Chinese Zodiac and the end of the world claims

But I am sure they use the Chinese Zodiac to determine what kind of stories they choose to put in the news

I have even heard news stories mention the zodiac animal year and how it relates to the news story before

@shortstories @RoninGrey

That descibes the cycle. Ronin was asking about it's significance, what it means to people.

In that sense, the year of the Dragon has great significance to Asians. It's the most powerful sign of the zodiac and has the most potential for good or evil.

Those born under it's influence, including those born in years of the Rat and Monkey, are believed capable of enacting events not possible in other years.

Invading Taiwan in a Dragon year would not be seen as stupid.

@UncleIroh @RoninGrey

I am going to log out and try to go to bed

I do not have faith in astrology and numerology

But I believe that people's belief in astrology and numerology influences their behavior

I also believe that people will change how they communicate information to try to persuade people who believe in astrology and numerology even if they themselves do not believe in astrology and numerology

Astrology and Numerology can also be used as a secret language to convey messages

@RoninGrey @shortstories Let us hope it holds true. Best that the best of those who hate them act. It is truly a now or never deal. Sure they may fail, but do we want them to drag it out 50-70 years like the USSR did?

@RoninGrey @shortstories They say "But in China, they regard the dragon as being a symbol representing imperial power and authority."

One of my thought was

youtu.be/ikIOqSrcryQ?si=Epehyt

@Stahesh @RoninGrey @UncleIroh

The best person to ask about year of the dragon would be Tim Ozman of infinite plane radio / media / society

He has a call in number for his show

He goes through how numerology & astrology & religious mythology are used in the news media

He claims to have been banned from youtube over 100 times because someone impersonates him and uploads his content to other youtube channels then copyright strikes him

So current website with contact info unknown to me

@RoninGrey @shortstories - Re: OP

I like dragons. I don't see them as Satanic. I suspect they've been painted as Satanic by the church, because they represent an older ethos, and one that is more grounded in reality.

Western Dragons seem to represent values that are opposed by the church in classic 'master-morality vs slave-morality' fashion.

I would never worship Satan though, so the fact that the two are often associated can be baffling, if a person is only seeing in dichotomies. 🫡🍻

@YoMomz @RoninGrey @Stahesh @UncleIroh

Dragons are dinosaurs

Dinosaurs are not real they were invented in the 1800s

So dragons are not real

The fact that they fact checked it shows that they are trying to hide the truth

usatoday.com/story/news/factch

The lack of soft tissue in most cases proves they do not know what alleged bone connected to what alleged bone and were just making stuff up

If any soft tissue is later found it does not refute they were making stuff up before then

@YoMomz @RoninGrey @Stahesh @UncleIroh

Groups that label themselves as both Christian and Young Earth Creationists frequently claim that dragons are real & that they co existed with humans & that small dinosaurs about the size of a football or a sheep were on Noah's ark

That dragon legends were really about dinosaurs

And Ken Ham instead of calling dragons "satanic" calls them "missionary lizards"

Calling Satan a serpent or dragon is not the same as calling all serpents Satan
