Were the 90's that great or are boomers wearing nostalgia goggles?

@basedbagel Lots of issues, but still a time of prosperity none the less.

@FinalDresdonation @basedbagel Growing up in the 90's was perhaps the vestiges of what American was. Plenty of problems: End of Cold War, Gulf War, Recession, Tech Boom, Excellent movies and music; we won't get that again.

@basedbagel It was the Dawn of the internet I was there almost a teeneger actually it was a great time good music rebelling against the conservatives (now we know both are the same coin) kids were kids bullying were acepted as part of the experience that develop caracter

@VeganMGTOW That does sound like fun. Outside of the bullying of course.

Still hard for me to imagine a time where conservatives were in power

@basedbagel - The 90's are inflated, but so much better than now. I pity today's youth (when not feeling contempt).

I used to roll my eyes at stories of the 60s and 70s... thinking they were tall tales and fish stories. But seeing the change from the 90s to now, I can believe - and it blows my mind.

Any way you slice it, we're in the dystopia. But it's like Churchill once said: "This, is not the beginning of the end... but the end, of the beginning."

@YoMomz Great quote, thanks for sharing your experience!
