@marlathetourist the biggest problem is, as TFM points out repeatedly, government attracts certain type of people and repels certain type of people. those who it attracts are exactly the people who should not be allowed in and vice versa. no political system will ever change that. USA just reached the saturation limit and everything is now starting to break down. that's about it.

i am pumped with caffeine today but the weather sucks so i can't focus on anything and entire day is now lost. zero productivity today :(

@VooDooMedic @Tfmonkey this was mostly caused by bank of japan. there was a lot of money borrowed that now needs to be returned so things will have to be shuffled in a big way. but it will settle soon. i mean, i bough intel on friday at 2021 price. that's not normal by any stretch of imagination and won't last. there will be a huge rebound soon. then add rate cut which is essentially guaranteed by now. things will rebound fast.

I got into wrist watches couple of years ago. Nothing fancy, just aliexpress brands. Mechanical mostly. It's sad that I don't have a daily place to go to, like an office. So wearing automatic is impossible since they die without movement of the wrist. Quartz is really practical, but the mechanical aspect of a movement is just something special. And being able to wear it is just ...nice.
