i need advice men, how do manage to stop thinking about work in your off time.
videogames are not really doing it for me anymore, now i start thinking how i just want to go home and play at work.
even more when everyone leaves and your left with the big turd to resolve it, i know what you're thinking, quit but, i can't.
as long as my jailers live, i have to carry the weight.
Been there @RodrickSage
What helped me was:
1. Yoga
2. Audiobooks
3. Writing
Bonus: Try to socialize more by going to events that interest you.
I know normies are annoying in this decadent culture but we have no other choice.
Remember most people get jobs because who they know.
Good luck

@RodrickSage - the worst thing is dreaming about work. I wanna tell my brain: "this is my time to rest. We're not clocked in right now!"
Ultimately, the solution is to resolve the source of stress at work. But when my mind was once helplessly hung up on a female... I found Lion's Mane mushroom supplements very helpful (available on Amazon & reasonably priced). It gave my brain the nimbleness to think of something else.
@RodrickSage Personal boundaries. Establish them, within reason and hold yourself accountable to them.
@RodrickSage Our minds tend to go towards things that are the most exciting or most urgent. You'd have to add something equally as exciting to your life.
Generally, this is a continuous issue for men who work is important to. You may have to accept it as part of your nature/values. Not fighting it will help too.
@redmaple i always knew i was low key a workaholic
@RodrickSage
maybe focus on hobbies/passions that can take your mind off work, something that you'd like to be doing even if you didn't have to work.
