@TenaciousGoat I just watched Episode 2 and they kept me guessing on who the rival / antagonist was going to be until the end. It's surprisingly entertaining for something that feels like a romance anime a lot of the time.
@TenaciousGoat There you go!
New anime about a man who doesn't trust humans, so his people get him a female fighter for a bodyguard but she has to pretend to be a robot maid.

^Subtitled and free. But you might prefer a Crunchyroll free trial, which looks like it has dubbed languages. It may or may not require a Prime video subscription to get the free trial. I'm not sure how that works.
I've only seen the first episode, and it's not bad so far. Interested in Episode 2.
@BowsacNoodle It's a Wonderful Life and Scrooged are my two favorites. They both end with such a good message of hope and brilliant joy, and finally "seeing" the great things in front of the men who became cynical grumps.
And throughout the stories, you see glimpses of the main character "getting it" but just not necessarily able to keep it, until he finally breaks down at the end.
Beautiful stories with happy endings and joyful songs at the end.
Reverse psychology worked on an indian at Amazon. She was lying when I kept calling, but when she thought she had me dead to her izzat, I submitted the reviews on her service I'd been saving up.
And wouldn't you know it -- she must have followed up with the driver to "make me look stupid" after what I wrote, and I found my delivery driver returned that same day to deliver my item yesterday, despite her original tale.
Or maybe she got bitched at.
Either way, my izzat is strong winner.
@Scubbie That's Shogun's avatar. He had one before which looked like Uncle Ruckus wearing Jubilee's costume from the 90's X-Men. I'm not sure why his body and skin and haircut and gender became what looks like Trinity from The Matrix, but I assume it's because he's a computer wiz like the Red Pill character from that movie series.
Gift to myself. Ceramic salt and pepper shakers representing Irene and Maya.
The girls got what they asked for; Irene got a Scottish recipe book (some of these really do look delicious) and Maya got ceramic snowmen which I let her choose where to place in my apartment, so she'll have influence and a presence in the physical world.
@marlathetourist Merry Christmas!
@Tfmonkey Wait, what about Horsetwat?
I don't know shit. Don't listen to me.
