This was a really sweet interaction. She even used our conversation topic as an opportunity to address how I was feeling a bit down about something and to encourage me to look on the bright side, how it makes me stronger. Wow.

I found an old list of potential band names I had come up with while brainstorming in my 20's.

Apparently, I'm not supposed to say "fagboy" to people on Instagram.

The evening before, I saw deer in neighborhoods along the coast of the local beach. And they fled. (True story)

Alpha Ducks and Beta Bucks.

I saw the most Alpha duck today on the way to work -- I'm talking cars swerving, people slamming on their brakes, traffic backed up -- and this fat, ugly duck just walking at exactly his own pace and no one else's, just not giving a FUCK as he crosses the street.

The other bird on the other side flew off at oncoming traffic and at cars nearly colliding and running each other off the road.

But Alpha Duck? The world stops for him. Alpha Duck marches on.

Had anyone seen this movie? I hadn't even heard of it. When she said "an objective good vs objective evil" it went from a curiosity to an interest.

This lady glazes it but I don't know much about her other than she dumped Nintendo, which does give her some reliability points in terms of good taste.
