@spectre I'm a bit suspicious of stories of ancient egalitarianism honestly. If you look at primates, they're not egalitarian outside of Bonobos, who evolved without predators and are weak sexual midgets.

Any society successful enough to record it's history and accomplish anything of merit was built on the biological necessity of patriarchy.

@spectre That's very common. After a power struggle, religions are often adopted or reformed to align with the new power structure. There is nothing to learn from this that can be applied to the current situation. Religion will adapt to changed in power, not the other way around.

What happens is black women get "weave" which is asian hair, sewn into your TIGHTLY braided hair, and eventually the stress and weight of the weave (along with the lack of cleaning) causes the hair to fall out.

You can see in the picture below how black women tightly braid their hair in order to sew weave into it. This is VERY expensive BTW, but it's worth it to them even if they're poor af.
