I was telling you that if your "debunking" was based entirely on screenshots of German Christians with Biblical names pulled from the Old Testament, that you'd have to do better because the Amish prove that Old Testament Biblical names remain popular among German Christians to this day.

You can continue to "debunk" the Social Gospel Movement by relying on people's ignorance of German Christian naming conventions and embarrass yourself though.

You're going to have to do better than highlighting Christian Ministers had Old Testament names as proof they were Jews.

@frogshade in ancient Greece and Rome, which were pretty patriarchal, there was gay stuff. However, people didn't base their identify around it, because without democracy, there is no identity politics.

The reason for the focus on sex and gender has a lot more to do with democracy and identity politics than the presence or absence of patriarchy.
