@VooDooMedic So you know the "200 years together" book that I bought. Apparently the jews in the kievan rus states were charging 50% interest and the king was protecting them because they were paying taxes/bribes until the people revolted and killed them. Also in the most recent passage it states that the jews were completely excluded from the early Moscow city. It makes sense why it became the capital of the Russian empire.
