Most domestic violence cases are reciprocal.
If you don't leave the very 1st time you get hit, all beatings after are your problem.
It's not that hard to find a partner that won't hit you if you just pay attention.

Basically alot of women get off to an attractive man dominating them physically, sometimes in a violent way.
Some theorize this was an evolutionary adaptation from when women were taken as war brides.
Idk but I stay FAR AWAY because one thing I know about females is they say the like one thing one day and then change your mind the next day and try to put you in jail!
@basedbagel Also women that are into choking and violent things have been subjected to that before by another partner . So they are poisoned wells . And totally irredemable .
I agree @ugly_bastard_reborned but I got quite a bit of pushback from guys at UNI writing off clear red flags of sever mental illness as "iTs jUsT a kInK bRo lOl"

@basedbagel - Yeah, this is very true. I've intervened in several cases, and the females are just as complicit. I wasn't white-knighting... These women were people I share DNA with.
With each new experience, I have found it more useful and expedient as a peacemaker/abuse-relationship-breaker, to simply impose your will upon both parties.
This means you have be strong, possess sound judgement, and be willing and able to inflict painful violence.
@basedbagel - Thankfully, it has never come to actual violence. But you have to be convincingly prepared.
I generally explain to the man, what the consequences will be if this continues, and that it's not worth it. And then I will often wish him well, and advise him to move on.
I would hold the females accountable for their end, but that's a pointless endeavor. Still, I'll explain what went wrong, what not to do in future, and apply social pressure to that end.

Well said but IMO not worth the risk as some people these days are too kray to handle.

These days I just call the police from a safe distance while recording the incident.
