on pathogens that could cause massive economic damage was extensively conducted in these biolabs
report essentially shows that the endgame was to cause long-term damage to the Russian economy (particularly its massive agricultural potential).
In turn, this was supposed to cause instability in the country, possibly even a famine that could destabilize the Russian government
Who wants the next pandemic and why?
Property tax is theft
Rent is paying for someone else's property tax
Vagrancy laws force people to pay rent or property tax or make deals with someone else who pays the property tax or rent to prevent imprisonment for sleeping
Vagrancy laws force people to pay property tax or rent exclusively with money because property tax is taken by the government esclusively in government issued money
This forces everyone to be slaves to the corporate government employment complex for money

You're conflating tangible with intangible goods.
A more realistic example is:
You spend months writing a book.
It releases and it sells like hotcakes.
Ripoff Mcgee sees your book and uses AI to say the SAME shit with the same references and sells it.
Ripoff Mcgee can spend WAY more than you on marketing since he spend ZERO time writing/researching.
Because of this he gets invited on national TV and people think of him when it comes to YOUR ideas.
@shortstories @basedbagel @[email protected] Also, don't forget removing minimum wage, or probably even adding a maximum wage. A great part of the final cost goes into paying wages.
Unless you automate, which will require massive R&D costs that the consumer will need to end up paying anyway, although for the several first years only. This however, may require strong IP protection so that the investor can get a return, otherwise there will be no R&D investment.
Being broke can stress you out to the point of mental illness.
Me 5 years ago: *tire goes flat*
OMG am I going to have to skip a meal or not get gas to pay for my tire? Why me, why now?!
I'll call 5 places and see who has the best price.
Present me: *tire goes flat*
Ah well, that sucks. I'm gonna put on my spare and go to the closest tire shop.
It's kind of a pain but hey, what can you do? what's important is I'm safe.
Money doesn't buy happiness, but it buys freedom + peace of mind.
Jew logic
If you wave a chicken over your head and then murder it then anything else unethical you do after that become ethical

>Copyright laws should be removed
NO. Once again just because people abuse laws doesn't mean the solution is to remove said law.
>We should not have money
Stop trolling me
>The motive to write a book is to give people good ideas so society functions better
That's easy for you to say because you don't run a business or have other people depending on you for their livelihood.
Spend 10+ years building a product and see how you feel when it gets stolen.

> suppression of new ideas, technologies, medications, and innovations.
Yes but this is only temporary and I'm willing to make that concession.
You're right in theory but the problem is you don't account for human nature.
If you don't incentivize the behavior you want people wont do it.
Good ideas that can save lives will be held back because people will have no way to protect their ideas or profit from them.

> It leads to rapid innovations with no strings attached.
That depends on the industry. Certain industries require MASSIVE $$ in R&D.
They are able to recoup that cost by the temporary monopoly created by IP.
As a business owner there is no way in HELL I'm footing the research bill for a new product so so some wise guy can undercut me 3 days later.
Just because patent trolls/big pharma suck doesn't mean we should throw the baby out with the bathwater
Our standard of living is only possible by Chinese kids working like slaves with no social mobility.
While I don't think it's right, if they were paid a fair wage + benefits I could no longer maintain my standard of living.
So while I still don't morally agree with it, I tacitly accept this injustice as I cannot afford a $3,000 smartphone.
I rationalize this in my brain by not being wasteful or lazy so their efforts go to waste. but TBH I'm probly kidding myself.
Food for thought.
