This midterm will tell us for sure if there is any use for electionbettingodds.com and betting markets for highly contested elections. Normally, it serves as a great barometer for seeing who is likely to win. But with "election fortifications," this tool cannot serve its function.

The only question is will this election one be stolen or not.

@Humpleupagus @d3n @mrman Yes, that will do it. There is a gatekeeping test called FizzBuzz that requires you to understand this principle in order to pass. Not that FizzBuzz is a good tool to find good programmers, but it does filter out those who don't know how to write code.

@deprecated_ii A part of financial literacy is knowing where your money is going and what it is doing. If you are signing contracts or making agreements without knowing what you are signing up for, often it is because you never molded any experience with money or math. That along with knowing your cash flow in and out.

@deprecated_ii Think about the average pro sportsballer. Do you think they prioritize academics or anything with their minds? No, they put the most effort into sports, getting full ride scholarships at colleges who also do not care if they have any acadrmic rigor, as they are just using the athletes to get sports revenue.

By the time they go pro, they lived a life coasting in terms of academics and finances, so they are not surprisingly incompetent with money.

I have already seen these sorts of ads before saying pregnant women should take them over a year ago. It seems that I have missed a whole ton of journalist roasting when I took my eyes away from the fediverse for a day. I can contribute in my own way.

Women complaining about men fearing commitment show that they themselves fear it, since they demand an easy exit, as well as a whole lot of other perks for destroying the family.

@unabomber This might explain why so many blue checkmarks got mad when Elon Musk offered verification for 8 dollars a month. Just think about putting so much stake in getting verified on Twitter so you can get likes and retweets from a lot of bot accounts. Sad.

@WashedOutGundamPilot @ForbiddenDreamer These "shortcuts" are taken because they are relatively easier to do than actually lose weight and be healthy. That takes real discipline and effort. You can buy a new outfit, get a haircut, or apply makeup all in 24 hours. Proper diet and exercise is a long haul commitment.

This shows that being fat is not just a superficial issue, but an indicator of someone's mindset and habits. Therefore, it is not wrong to reject someone based on obesity.
