Nothing is really new, overall society just knows so little today that even ancient inventions are considered breakthroughs. That's why I only read older books, there's where the real knowledge lies.

Now I'm going through Schopenhauer the world as will and representation and finished albert camus the stranger on the philosophy side. Great stories although complex and good to take the time to go through them slowly.
On the practical side, I've been reading different electronics books to work on my project of building up old tv circuit board from scratch.

The way a lot of dating coaches tell people to do certain behavior that they call alpha behavior such as ultra aggressiveness instead of being helpful to people is harmful to society
Women rewarding aggressive males who do not have productive behavior harms society
It is possible to be assertive and show initiative while also being productive but there are some people who are not competant but are very confident and aggressive that tend to get into management positions that are bad

Correct. I worked this out for myself a few years ago when thinking through the whole Alpha/Beta paradigm.
Kevin Samuels also did a good bit on this which made a lot of wannabe Alphas butthurt.
