This is a great point to bring up to anyone who claims to be Christian and is a Zionist at the same time. Why should we consider Jews to be "similar" or "the same" as Christian when they reject the most fundamental beliefs and teachings that Christians follow?

@houseoftolstoy

Islam is closer to Christianity than Judaism

Roman Catholics who non Roman Catholic zionists call heretics tend to claim Jews, Christians and Muslims worship one and the same God but Roman Catholics are the most correct in their knowledge about that God

Follow

@houseoftolstoy

I would ask them do Muslims worship the same god as Christians

If they say no I would ask them why they believe that

Once they give one answer I would ask them if they have any additional reasons for why they believe that

Once I get their list of reasons then I would ask if the same reasons they listed apply to Jews

This is similar to what you said but they might not believe the trinity or believe that belief in the trinity is essential

@houseoftolstoy

They might say of course the Jews do not worship the same god they were sown in unbelief according to the Bible but when Jesus comes again they will believe in him as Romans 9 says all Israel will be saved

Some zionists before make it about bloodline not religion

That is why it is important to point out that Palestinians are the descendants of the old testament Judeans and Israelites to a greater extent of percent ancestry than Ashkenazi and Sephardic Jews

@houseoftolstoy

Also I point out that Messianic Jews who use the Old & New Testament as their religious texts are persecuted by Israel so the State of Israel is persecuting Christianity which they claim was the / a original Jewish religion and people who they claim are of Jewish ancestry

@houseoftolstoy

Islam does not disagree with what the Christian Church of the East teaches in that

1 God has no biological mother
2 God has no biological son
3 God has no wife
4 God does not have a created body but is uncreated & eternal
5 God is not a trinity / triunity of three human bodies a biological Father, a Wife / biological mother & a biological Son

The Church of the East teaches that Jesus human nature is not divine & that his divine nature is not human & both natures are united

@houseoftolstoy

Muhammad personally knew a Christian from the Church of the East and explicitly rejected the teachings of the Oriental Orthodox & the predecessors of the Eastern Orthodox & Roman Catholic Churches that were calling the Church of the East heretical for it's refusal to call Mary the mother of God

That is why Islam explicitly says God has no biological child nor biological parent nor spouse

& why they deny that God is a triunity of those 3 things

In my opinion

@houseoftolstoy

Muslims instead of saying God is not the trinity of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit / Ghost

Replace the Holy Spirit with a woman who is a wife / mother and call it a triunity then deny the triunity

@shortstories @houseoftolstoy >Islam does not disagree with what the Christian Church of the East
Nestorianism is pretty much universally rejected as heresy by Christians. There are some heterodoxical distinctions with some Eastern Christianity beliefs that can potentially be interpreted as what you mentioned. I believe it's Coptics that define things as such, but ultimately the definition is more of linguistics and semantics than true dogma. I'm going off memory so I could be wrong.
@BowsacNoodle @shortstories @houseoftolstoy You are correct. They are the Miaphysite Churches which use the Christology of Cyril of Alexandria. The Nestorian and Monophysite heresies constantly rear their heads at a low level because of the linguistic structure but their Churches repeatedly reiterate Myaphysitism caged in a way which is basically indistinguishable from Dyophysitism
@shortstories @houseoftolstoy @BowsacNoodle It's like the cat argument meme

Dyophyistism - Christ's two natures, divine and human are individually distinct but perfectly united

Miaphysitism - Christ's singular nature is both divine and human by perfect combination of both human and divine natures which are of themselves distinct

Miaphysitism goes out of its way to put extra emphasis on the hypostasis of the two natures, because they have a linguistic tendency to turn talk of this subject towards Monophysitism(divine nature only and no human nature) or Nestorianism(no combination of natures)

@shortstories @ProfessionalNEET @houseoftolstoy @BowsacNoodle word magic judge them by their actions and be judged by yours to many words is deception just like in math simplify the equation break the spell

@Scubbie @shortstories @houseoftolstoy @BowsacNoodle >Matthew 7:15-23
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thorns, or figs from thistles? In the same way, every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus you will know them by their fruits.
Concerning Self-Deception
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many deeds of power in your name?’ Then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; go away from me, you evildoers.’

Anyone who redefines Christ into someone he is not does not know him and is a hellbound idolator

Even the briefest glimpse shows that all of the major Christological heresies have rapidly rotted away over the course of history.
@shortstories @houseoftolstoy

We got christians out there not believing in the trinity? Smdh...

@gnarley_boot @houseoftolstoy

Which trinity? Different denominations believe in different trinities and they excommunicated other denominations for believing in the wrong trinity as part of ecumenical councils with people voting on the truth

It changed from a list of three things that could overlap and were therefore not a counted quantity to three hypostasis to three personas to three persons all potentially having a different meaning

Then a debate occured over who proceeded from who

@shortstories @houseoftolstoy

Sorry I don't speak or understand catholicnese. I'm talking about the Father, the Son (Jesus) and the Holy Ghost, the Godhead. If christians deny that I doubt they are saved tbh, because the Bible is so blatant about it.
@dcc @houseoftolstoy @shortstories

Spirit and Ghost mean the same thing in English dum dum, it's not a error.
@dcc @houseoftolstoy @shortstories

> a ghost is a apparition

"And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased." Luke 3:22

Make sense why the KJV translators used the term ghost.

@gnarley_boot @dcc @houseoftolstoy

Well the most important thing is not to be of the so called Jewish religion

Because the so called Jewish religion is racist

Going to try to sleep now

@dcc @houseoftolstoy @gnarley_boot

I assumed ghost meant the same thing as Spirit during a certain timevin a certain language compared with another time and another language

@gnarley_boot @houseoftolstoy @shortstories

This is correct, and based off the Eastern dyophysicitic Trinity.

Here's a simplified diagram of the lineages.

@UncleIroh @gnarley_boot @houseoftolstoy

That diagram is missing the Oriental Orthodox which is different than Church of the East ( Nestorian ) and Eastern Orthodox ( The one that split with Roman Catholicism )

There were four major groups Church of the East - Two natures of Jesus human & divine in a union of coherence-Divine not human
Oriental Orthodox -One nature of Jesus?
Eastern Orthodox - Spirit proceeds from son only
Roman Catholic - Spirit proceeds from son & father - changed the text

@shortstories Bloodline really is not critical either if you are a follower of Christ. The major point of Christianity was to spread Jesus's message to all people and to bring them to salvation.
