I've had something of the same experience. One thing I've noticed is that it's the more established companies that make it worthwhile. They don't have to particularly large, but have been around long enough the engineering management know what's what.

It's startups where they think you are going to work for cheap and at some points free, like someone desperate for gigs on Upwork or Fiverr, that can be problems. I dealt with one like that ...

My better half made mention of something this morning that has left me pondering...

This morning, we were perusing an engineering forum where many members, mostly White & Asian, are either unemployed or standing by to become unemployed, but we have been seeing something interesting going on over the last few years.

We here talk often about the tactic of building a parallel economy as the most effective way to beat the System at its own game.

Many of these companies that went all-in on DEI & H1B are facing major problems. Significant high-level technical shit isn't getting done (or done right), and while the root cause is strikingly evident, these companies cannot fire these incompetent slags, thanks to the many laws jews helped put in place to protect tokens & jeets from termination.

Many of our White & Asian counterparts have begun organizing semi-formal registries that offer 'consultation solutions' to the very companies who canned them in favor of Da'Marcus & Pajeet. These groups do not list as 'employment agencies' because if they did, these company HR reps wouldn't give them the time of day for the aforementioned reasons. These groups live in the subforums of numerous open-source communities and places like Engineering Tips and CFD Online, among many places, with select members doing outreach to trusted contacts within various companies.

The 'consultant', by way of the registry, is now greatly empowered to cut lucrative short-term deals that enables him/her to work various jobs of their choosing, all under the aegis of 'consulting'...a work-around to the status quo.

I am understanding that Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Boeing & SpaceX et al bring on these 'consultants' by the shitload.

Many others are banding together and forming new businesses in the same manner my partners and I did.

In all honesty, we secured lots of work contracts by way of connections through these forums but the concept is clear-

It simply never dawned on us that we have effectively been operating in a pseudo-undergound & parallel tech economy...one powered by AI (Aryan Ingenuity).

Open-source software communities and even the Fediverse are examples of parallel economy infrastructure.

A big thing to figure out now is an alternative currency, something that is not only more stable than crypto but can also has the potential to interchange with System currency.
