Someone told me not to move my knee beyond my toes that that is hyperextending

I was tempted to say that that is not the definition of hyperextending

Or that in some context it is good to move ypur knees beyond your toes but not in other context

But I thought about it and concluded that it was good not to move my knees beyond my toes in that very specific context, tried to follow the instructions and did not say anything to correct his wromg understanding of anatomy
