My conspiracy theory of the day: the demonitizing of videos using terms like "pedophile," "rape," and "porn," are not used to protect children, but to serve as a shield to our own corrupt rulers so that it is harder to discuss the horrible acts they are doing.

Not that it really would work anyway, since people just created replacement terms like "PDF file," "grape," and "corn." You can't truly stop the message, you just force people to come up with new terms.

I do not have a problem with black people that behave like white people that are not racist against white people

@shortstories They should do this with every job. This was the promise of computing/automation. The tech was supposed to work harder, so we didn't have to. There's no reason for anyone to work more than 25 hours a week. Labor law needs to reflect that.

@Bleukitty @cjd
IMO companies should let their employees out to vote, because heaven knows unemployed people all seem to make it there, and if companies don't let their employees vote, they can't be too surprised when the "steal all corporate assets to give to the poor" candidate wins.

@cjd

I agree. Only issue are hospitals and the like.
They can make shifts shorter and have more of them for Election day!

I think that we need to get away from the idea that putting a paper in a box is the actual GOAL of government, and it doesn't matter what the country is like as long as everyone is able to do that ritual.

I would much rather live in a well run country where I can't vote. Than live in a basket case of a country which nonetheless does hold an election every year.
So when I consider something like voter ID, voter registration, additional paperwork needed to vote, etc.

I'm do NOT care if it "disenfranchises" anyone from their "right to put the paper in the box", what I care is whether decisions end up being better quality or not.
The real question how the hell did she steal a damn alligator?

That is not a parking lot light... That is a high-mast interstate highway floodlight. It is designed to light up the road for cars driving 70mph, but it’s placed directly above residential apartments. We're bathing people's bedrooms in industrial-grade light just to prioritize highway speed.

To compete with the "No Kings" movement, I have decided to start a new political campaign that I am calling the "No Queens" movement, where we just really hate women and seek to remove them from any position of power ever
