I think deporting is a great solution, and should replace imprisonment for most crimes.

If no other country wants the criminal, there's always the stratosphere.


I feel the OP is hoping to use prison to fix broken border enforcement, employment regulations and federal grant management.

Why can't we just give life sentences for creating fraudulent businesses at taxpayer expense instead of just deporting them

It can be equal that way

Foreigner or not foreigner if your business fraud is too harmful to the public then you get a life sentence

I feel like deporting them is just releasing them so that they can sneak back in and commit more crimes, it is not a strong enough motivation not to commit crimes nor a strong enough mechanism to prevent future crimes

How can we speed up the widespread domestication of raccoons to where it is common for humans to have legally have raccoons as companion animals or pets without spreading infectitious diseases and without getting raccoons killed by humans who are not raccoon friendly?

Maybe companion animal in this context I am using it means it hangs out in their backyard like a companion to a human but it is free to leave and not forced to be there against it's will like the way a pet would have no choice
